Porsche 992 Overview
The Porsche 911 success concept goes into the 8th round. The Porsche 911 Type 992 has all the genes of the model series, but also offers many innovations. These include new assistance systems such as the wetness detector, lane departure warning and night vision systems. The technology in the interior has also been improved, a larger touchscreen monitor has been installed and all instruments have been digitalised, except for the analogue rev counter.
The exterior has remained relatively the same, except for a few changes in dimensions. One change, however, is unprecedented: The Porsche 992 has mixed tyres. This means that the Porsche 992 rims and tyres on the front and rear axles are of different sizes. The smallest combination is 19 inches on the front axle and 20 inches on the rear axle and the largest combination is 20 inches on the front axle and 21 inches on the rear axle. At the same time Porsche has introduced a new tyre marking, namely "NA0". This marking indicates that a tyre is optimised for Porsche. Here, too, caution is advised, because if the tyres do not have the corresponding marking for the respective vehicle or the Porsche 992 rims are not original, the "Porsche Approved" warranty will expire.

The Carrera is available as a standard variant and as a convertible. The basic version, the 992 Carrera, has, as already mentioned, a respectable 385hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The Porsche 992 Carrera S even comes with 450hp and therefore needs only 3.7 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. The 992 Carrera S owes this to the 530 NM that the engine produces. Porsche 992 Carrera 4 & 992 Carrera 4S
The Porsche 992 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S aren't much different in terms of basic specs, except for the all-wheel drive. They also have 385PS and 450PS. An innovation compared to the standard rear-wheel-drive colleagues is that, in addition to the standard Carrera and the Carrera Cabrio version, there is also the Porsche 992 Targa. So that the all-wheel drive can develop its full effect, only original Porsche 992 Carrera 4 rims come into question.
